Corporations with private fleets in the U.S., as well as for-hire carriers, have begun ordering faster than before. According to ACT Research, orders for Class-8 trucks increased by 62% in October compared with the previous month, and up 167% compared with year-ago levels. As the economy continues to strengthen, this trend will continue to grow and so will the need to replace aging equipment.
