Where to Find the Papers

This is the Web site of the Social Science Research Network (SSRN), an abstract database that contains abstracts from over 55,100 scholarly working papers and forthcoming papers as well as an electronic paper collection that contains over 34,200 downloadable full text documents in Adobe Acrobat pdf format. Many of these papers and articles are free, while others are available for a nominal price. Significantly, the database provides access to many articles and papers that aren't normally available outside the well known fee-based databases.

Interested readers can enter a search expression to locate various working papers at www.papers.ssrn.com/sol3/DisplayAbstractSearch.cfm. For example, entering the search expression 'health care fraud' resulted in ten matches, including papers written by members of the Editorial Board of this newsletter: Gabriel L.
