Harris Beach (New York): Regina Ciccone MacAdam has joined Harris Beach as senior counsel on the health care providers industry team. She was previously an associate at Damon & Morey.

Farrell Fritz (Uniondale, NY): Christopher J. Kutner, a partner at New York's Farrell Fritz, has been appointed to the board of directors of the American Red Cross in Nassau County, NY. Kutner concentrates his practice in health care law, representing physicians, benefit plans and insurance companies.

Waters & Kraus (Los Angeles): Gary Paul of Waters & Kraus has been inducted into the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles';Hall of Fame. Paul, who earned his J.D. in 1974 from Loyola Law School, has tried cases involving consumer and medical product liability, medical and professional malpractice, commercial and insurance litigation, and employment and labor law.

Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker (New York): Robert W. Harrison has joined the firm's professional liability, products liability and employment groups as partner in the San Diego office. Harrison will focus on civil litigation with emphasis in the defense of professional liability involving health care professionals, lawyers, accountants and brokers. Harrison served as the Pacific regional director for the Defense Research Institute, representing California, Arizona, Nevada and Hawaii.

Blank Rome (Philadelphia): Scott Simmer joins the firm's health law group and commercial litigation group as partner in the Washington office. Simmer will focus on complex health care litigation. Previously, Simmer was head of the health care litigation practice at Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi.

King & Spalding (Atlanta): Thirteen lawyers, including six partners, join the firm's health care industry group in the Houston and Washington offices. Joining as partners are Dennis M. Barry, Christopher L. Keough and Joseph E. Lynch in Washington and Gary W. Eiland, Dennis C. Dunn and Nancy C. LeGros in Houston. In addition, counsel Stephanie A. Webster joins the Washington office. The attorneys join the firm from Vinson & Elkins.

Archer & Greiner in Haddonfield (Haddonfield, NJ): Gary Lesneski, presiding partner of Archer & Greiner in Haddonfield, NJ, has been elected chairman of the Health and Hospital Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA). The chairman of his firm's health care law practice group, Lesneski previously served as NJSBA section chairman from 1994 to 1995.
