Blank Rome LLP announces that the Honorable Jacqueline W. Silbermann joins the Firm as Of Counsel in the Matrimonial group. Justice Silbermann brings 20 years of experience handling matrimonial matters throughout the state of New York and more than 25 years of overall judicial experience. Her judicial experience will greatly bolster Blank Rome's mediation practice, says the firm. Justice Silbermann joined Blank Rome on Jan. 1, 2009, and is based in the New York office. Justice Silbermann stepped down from her position as the Deputy Chief Administrative Judge for Matrimonial Matters for the State of New York at the end of 2008, a position she had held since 1997. She is a frequent author on various matrimonial rules, including preparation and case management. She serves on the boards for Fordham University School of Law, New York Women's Bar Association and New York State Association of Women Judges.
