San Francisco's Sideman & Bancroft LLP adds significant family law expertise with Raquel Sefton, who joins the firm as a partner, and Lisa Auer, who joins as an associate. Both were formerly with Folger Levin & Kahn LLP in the same city.
The last of Wolf Block's major practice groups has found a new home in the wake of the firm's decision to dissolve. The firm's family law practice, headed by partner Lynne Z. Gold-Bikin, a member of this newsletter's Board of Editors, joined Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby effective May 1. The five-lawyer group gives Weber Gallagher a new office location in Norristown, PA, and a new practice area, given that the litigation-focused firm has not handled family law in the past.
Gold-Bikin heads up the new practice, and her partner, Daniel J. Clifford, serves as the managing partner of the Norristown office. They are joined by the three family law associates formerly at Wolf Block ' Christian Badali, Jonathan Hoffman and Andrew Taylor ' and the seven staff members who worked with them in the Norristown location.
