Some of his key industries include real estate, construction, aircraft and corporate leasing as well as intellectual property rights pertaining to technology and biotechnology. Curran was previously a partner in the Bankruptcy, Creditors' Rights & Workouts practice group at Hinckley, Allen & Snyder LLP in Boston.
Mark J. Kalla has joined the Minneapolis office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP as partner in the firm's Finance, Insolvency and Restructuring Department. Kalla focuses his practice on bankruptcy and workout matters, corporate bond defaults, representation of various entities in commercial disputes and documentation of asset-based loans, including debtor-in-possession financing. He joins the firm from Dorsey & Whitney LLP.
