EverBank Commercial Finance, Inc. of Parsippany, NJ, has named Lisa Gabrielson as relationship manager in the company's health care equipment finance platform. She will be responsible for strengthening the bank's presence in the vision and veterinary markets. Gabrielson was formerly a senior regional sales manager in U.S. Bank's equipment finance division.

TBF Financial of Deerfield, IL, has acquired a commercial small-ticket portfolio from a bank that had $25 million in outstanding charge-offs on leases and loans. TBF was the highest bidder in an auction for this collections project. The business focus of TBF is to purchase uncollected receivables (charge-offs) and provide an immediate cash return to sellers.
