These two decisions, written on consecutive days, illustrate the way that an Article 2A finance lease is supposed to operate for the benefit of the lessor, and also to preserve certain remedies for the lessee. In the first case, the lessor moved for summary judgment after the lessee had ceased making payments on a lease of a wheel loader, which, the lessee complained, was severely defective.
