Kathleen Kedrowski and Andrew Richmond, managing directors in Navigant Consulting Inc.'s Disputes & Investigations practice, have recently been appointed to serve on two of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants' (“AICPA”) Specialized Communities and Firm Practice Management committees.
Kedrowski has been appointed to serve a three-year term on the AICPA's National Forensic and Valuation Services Executive Committee, one of the AICPA's Specialized Committees responsible for setting standards for the performance of Forensic and Valuation Services by CPAs. Richmond has been appointed to serve on the Forensic and Litigation Services Committee for a three-year term.
Kedrowski is a managing director in the Chicago Disputes & Investigations practice, where she leads the Intellectual Property services team. With more than 24 years' experience, Kedrowski performs a variety of economic, business and financial analyses on behalf of clients in intellectual property, licensing and other disputes as well as advises clients on the strategic use of intellectual assets. She has testified as a damages and licensing expert in both federal and state court as well as before arbitration tribunals. In addition to serving as an AICPA committee member, Kedrowski also serves as a board member of or volunteer to several professional organizations including, the Center for Applied Innovation, Licensing Executives Society, the Intellectual Property Owners Association, and Art Resources in Teaching. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, where she is also an editorial adviser to the Journal of Accountancy; the Illinois Society of Certified Public Accountants; and, the American Bar Association. Kedrowski is also an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Chicago's Graham School of General Studies where she teaches Financial Accounting.
Richmond is a managing director in Navigant's Chicago office and is the Central Region Practice Leader for the firm's Disputes & Investigations practice. His analytical and financial skills have allowed him to address forensic accounting, valuation and business economics issues in a wide variety of consulting engagements. Richmond has extensive experience in conducting forensic investigations and quantifying damages in commercial litigation. He has assisted business clients and their counsel as both a consultant and as an expert witness.
Wolf, Greenfield & Sacks, P.C., a Boston intellectual property law firm, has named Ryan MacDougall senior manager, business development. He will identify and implement business-development projects and activities for the firm's practice groups and its individual attorneys.
MacDougall was previously marketing manager of Goodwin Procter LLP's technology companies practice group, where he provided marketing and business-development support to the 160 attorneys nationally. Before that, he was a regional marketing manager with Littler Mendelson, a large Los Angeles-based law firm and a marketing manager with Thelen Reid & Priest. He began his marketing career as a marketing specialist with Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault.
